Made exclusively for the Vipp x mesura installation during 3daysofdesign 2026, the special edition of the Vipp Swivel chair reflects the playful spirit of the ephemeral guesthouse.
Drawing on Vipp’s collection of architect-designed guesthouses, Barcelona-based architecture and design studio mesura reimagines the guesthouse as a spatial playhouse inspired by the simple act of a picnic. Within the installation, the chair forms part of a shared landscape for rest, conversation, and play.

Within the installation, the Vipp Swivel chair appears in a second edition upholstered in a striped jacquard textile by Italian textile house C&C Milano. Developed specifically for the project, the chair lines the polished stainless-steel table surrounding the conversation pit and introduces the graphic textile language found throughout the installation.
