Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to products purchased from Vipp A/S. When placing an order at Vipp.com you also accept these terms and conditions.


Orders are delivered via UPS to residential and business addresses in Europe and the USA. In Denmark orders are delivered via GLS. Delivery takes place on weekdays, usually between 7am-4pm (excluding Public Holidays).


Track your order
Once the order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. The order can then be tracked at www.ups.com (Europe and USA), or www.gls-group.eu(Denmark).


Delivery times and shipping costs
Orders received on a business day before 12 noon CET will ship out on that same day. Orders received after 12 noon on any given day will ship out the next business day. Information about shipping costs will be available during the shopping process, before checkout in the webshop. Delivery usually takes place within 5 business days.
Please be aware that express delivery service is not available for addresses on offshore islands.

Please note that import fees from EU to UK will be charged directly from UPS.

Please note that shipping fees vary for orders to Hawaii. Please email vippusa@vipp.com for a price quote on your order. 

Returns and claims

In case you regret your purchase at Vipp.com, you have 14 days of cancellation, valid from the day you receive your product(s). If you wish to cancel or return your order, please notify us via email: webshop@vipp.com. Please mention your web-order ID when contacting customer service.


Please note that you cannot use your right of cancellation by rejecting your parcel at delivery, or by neglecting to collect it, without at the same time letting us know that you wish to return. You are required to return the product(s) in the same condition and quality as it is received, including original packaging.


Vipp reserves the right to withhold a percentage of the purchase price when refunding if a product is returned used or otherwise damaged. You, the customer, is responsible for all cost associated with returning your order, as well as for wrapping the goods securely as you hold the risk of the goods as of delivery.

Please use an insured delivery service, as Vipp will not accept responsibility for items not received, as per The Consumer Contracts Act § 20, item 4 (in Danish “forbrugeraftaleloven”). Upon receipt of your return, the purchase amount is deposited into your account. Vipp reserves the right to withhold a percentage of the purchase price when refunding if a product is returned used or otherwise damaged.



Vipp sofa orders: Please note that all sofa orders are custom production orders. Cancellations or returns of sofa orders are not accepted.


Exchange, mis-delivery, claims
If you wish to exchange your product or have received a faulty delivery or a defective product, please contact our customer service on +45 4588 8800 (USA: +1 646 877 5347) or webshop@vipp.com. Please mention your web-order ID when contacting customer service. 


Returns shipped to Vipp without prior notification to Vipp customer service may delay processing time, as per The Consumer Contracts Act § 20 (in Danish “forbrugeraftaleloven”).


Within the first two years from the delivery date of your product, Vipp offers two years right to submit complaints regarding workmanship and material defects. This does not cover defects or damage caused directly or indirectly by misuse, poor maintenance, violence or manipulation. In case of a defective product, Vipp offers to repair, replace, or credit the product. Furthermore, Vipp will arrange the pickup of the defective product, unless otherwise agreed.


Questions concerning your order are always welcome. However, complaints regarding products purchased at a Vipp retail partner and not on the webshop are to be addressed directly to the retail partner.


DAMAGE caused by transportation
In case of obvious damage, we recommend that you accept the goods only with reservations or refuse to receive it. In both cases, we ask you to contact our customer service at webshop@vipp.com or call +45 4588 8800. Please include your web-order ID so that your request can be processed quickly and efficiently.


In the case of pre-paid or returned goods that are canceled prior to shipping, the purchase price will be refunded. The refund is usually transferred within 30 days to the credit card used for the purchase. On request, the amount may be refunded by bank transfer. In this case, Vipp needs your account number, IBAN number, and Swift number. This information is not sensitive and can be sent by e-mail or other traditional forms of communication.

Vipp reserves the right to cancel orders in whole or in part. This usually happens due to price errors, system failures, or suspected abuse of payment.


Vipp is determined always to provide correct information on www.vipp.com. However, the information on the website may contain errors or system failures. The prices listed on www.vipp.com are neither an offer nor a contract. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

Privacy policy

Vipp takes a great deal of care in ensuring that information that is obtained about you is treated appropriately. We will not pass on or sell your personal information to any third party. All information is stored securely and is only accessible to trusted employees.


The electronic payment system in the Vipp webshop is secure and encrypted.


The webshop uses cookies to manage the contents of the shopping basket. A cookie is a file that is stored on your PC. The webshop allows one to save your personal data to facilitate the next visit to the shop. Do you want to delete this information this can be done in the settings of your browser.


Vipp participates in Google Adwords and Google Display Network remarketing, which uses the DoubleClick cookie. This cookie tells Google that you have browsed our site and it may show Vipp ads on other sites you visit. Opt-out of customised Google Display Network ads by visiting the Ads Preferences Manager or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to control your browsing experience.


When shopping on our webshop, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. This information is used solely to process your order. Information reported will be stored electronically for 5 years in an unencrypted form.


We also collect the IP addresses from which purchases are made. This information will normally be of no use, but may possibly be used in police investigations. All fraudulent orders are reported to the police.




Storage of personal data
On request we gladly inform you about your personal data that we have registered in our system. Upon request, this data will be deleted, of course.
As a registered user, you have the right to know that Vipp collects and processes your personal data. See the above for your personal data.

You also have the right to know how we process your data. If we process incorrect data, you have the right to correct this information.

You have the right to obtain erasure of personal data if we do not have a legal basis for the processing of such data and you can file a request asking us to erase this data to the extent that you think we retain such data.

If you think we are processing your data for marketing purposes and that we are not entitled to do so, you can object to this and it is our obligation to make a decision in regard to your objection.

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data in a format that allows transfer to a different service provider or supplier. We can only hand over personal data digitally if they are available in such a format.

If we process your data on the basis of your consent, you are - as a registered user - entitled to withdraw your consent at any time. We shall, in this connection, inform you that we may rely on a different legal basis for continuing to process your data. In that event, we reserve the right to process any data to the extent that it complies with applicable law.


If you think that we have failed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation while processing your personal data or in any other manner acted against the regulation, you have the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency. Data Protection
We have adopted the following organisational and technical measures on our IT platform with the aim of protecting your personal data. 

  • Antivirus on all IT systems that process personal data.
  • Backup of all IT systems that process personal data.
  • Use of branch-specific IT systems for processing activities.
  • Data processor agreements with vendors, who process personal data on the behalf of Vipp.
  • Non-disclosure agreements with employees, who need to process personal data.

A cookie is the term for a file that is stored on your own PC and helps us to optimize your shopping experience on vipp.com. Vipp uses cookies to analyse and manage content relevant to the user.
The webshop uses cookies to preserve the contents of the shopping basket and it is also possible to ask the webshop to save one’s own address information for the next visit.


Google Analytics

Social Media
Vipp uses cookies from Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. We do this in order to follow the user's journey between our social media platforms, analyse the use, as well as create relevant content and campaigns on social media in relation to the user's interests.


Email marketing
Vipp uses cookies when subscribing to newsletters, for analysis of the number of subscribed users, which countries the users come from, and how many unsubscribes in the process. In addition, Vipp uses cookies in newsletters to analyse the activity of the e-mail campaign, whether the content is relevant and whether traffic and purchases created on vipp.com originate from the relevant links in the newsletter.


Deletion of cookies
If you want to delete this information later, this can be done via the browser settings under 'Browser data'. If you want to consistently refuse the storage of cookies, this is also possible under the relevant settings in your browser. Please note that there may be functions on vipp.com that do not work optimally without the use of cookies.

We accept Visa and Mastercard.


Orders placed via vipp.com are treated as transactions to end consumers. Local VAT will be charged within EU and no VAT on USA orders. It is not possible for companies to get a VAT refund through Vipp. However, you are welcome to contact us at webshop@vipp.com in order to have a VAT-number printed on the invoice. Hereby companies placing orders can contact local authorities to arrange for a VAT refund.
