Upholstery

It is generally understood that products left outside will be affected by the weather, and fabric and surfaces can get dirty. Hence, we recommend covering the outdoor furniture using the specially designed Open-Air cover when not in use.

If cleaning is needed, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner to remove any debris inside the textile. Avoid hard floor brushes when vacuuming. Keep sharp objects away and push loose threads back with a blunt object instead of cutting. Clean regularly with lukewarm water (max 40°C) and mild cleaning agent on a terry cloth, testing on a hidden spot first.

In certain situations, if the upholstery has not been well cared for and protected, mould and mildew can develop. While the fabric itself does not promote the growth of mould and mildew, it can easily develop if organic materials such as food or plant matter are left on the fabric surface for an extended period of time.
In case of stubborn stains, it is safe to clean the Open-Air fabric with bleach.

Remember to mix household bleach with lukewarm water and detergent to create a solution. We recommend testing the solution on a hidden area before proceeding to clean the entire surface. When cleaning, it is best to treat the entire furniture piece to prevent any concentrated spots, water rings, or colour difference.

Always thoroughly rinse the fabric and cushions with clean water before using them again and allow them to air dry completely. In rare cases where removing the covers from the furniture is necessary, we recommend machine washing them at a maximum temperature of 40°C and avoid tumble drying.
