The Cabin series is our first venture into solid wood furniture. Crafted from solid oak the Cabin series unfolds in a duo consisting of a dining chair, a counter stool, two round tables as well as a square table. The understated simplicity of the Cabin series is the result of a comprehensive process where each piece of furniture is shaped, sanded, and assembled with care. Besides from the colour options of light or dark oak, a selection of unique marble tops, including Jura Grau Blau marble, is available for the round table, while the dining chair offers optional seat padding.
Vipp Cabin counter stool is made for a kitchen counter. This counter stool features rounded components of solid oak and a hovering veneer seat with an affixed cushion in either sand or black leather. The supportive footrest of steel ensures stability.
The Cabin Lounge Chair is Vipp’s take on a lounge chair; elements such as the wooden frame and the hand-braided paper cord back are recognizable from Danish design history. With emphasis and focus on the craftmanship known from other Danish design classics, the Cabin Lounge Chair provides a modern, yet classic take.
The eight-person Cabin square table features a limestone tabletop sourced in Burgundy, France. The light grey stone with notes of brown has a characteristic surface where a soft brush technique safeguards the natural structure of the hard stone. The heavy stone top is supported by two parallel legs in dark solid oak carved with vertical ridges.
