Regional Contract Sales Manager, US West Coast

Vipp is a Danish design company in global growth, that develops and sells furniture, lighting, kitchen modules and accessories for both home and public interiors.

We now seek a Regional Contract Sales Manager to further develop our position in the contract market in the US West region. 

 

About the job
You will be responsible for sales to the architect and interior designer (A&D) community in the US West region. The overall objective is to reach, or even exceed, the ambitious sales targets to the A&D community within the region. You will have the responsibility to further develop our position in the contract market with relevant customers and stakeholders.

Your primary tasks will be:
• Introducing and selling in new products targeted to the contract market.
• Seeking new potential projects.
• Further developing cooperation with selected partners.
• Planning and organizing special events (in Denmark and the US) with A&D.
• Active CRM and pipeline management.
• Appointment planning and bookings. 
• Carrying out prospecting based on market analysis.

Qualifications
• You have at least five years of experience from a similar position.
• You have a strong network in the US West contract market.
• You are passionate about design and have experience in selling quality products to the contract market.
• You are an innate salesperson and have strong negotiating skills.
• You are an entrepreneurial individual who works proactively rather than waiting for opportunities to come along.
• You work purposefully and in a structured manner.
• You enjoy working in a company with a word-for-word approach to business.
• You enjoy working independently and thrive on long-distance management.
• You have a US work permit.

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate who sees an exciting opportunity in working to build the US West contract market. You will have great responsibility from day one, and we expect you to play a main role in how the sales strategy is executed together with the team in New York. This requires solid experience from similar jobs and a strong A&D network. You probably come from a similar position as Regional Contract Sales Manager, and you are ready to work hard to achieve the expected results.
